Hamilton Home Sales Range From $220,000 to $1.255 Million in Late Summer
Fourteen properties in Hamilton were recorded at the Essex County Registry of Deeds between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Nine of the 14 deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $220,000 to $1,255,000, with a median of $800,000. The period's top sale was 49 Walnut Rd at $1,255,000, sold by the Leigh M. Thayer Trust to Malcolm Wallace. Four transfers involved parties sharing a surname, including two on Martel Road, consistent with family or trust transfers; most of those did not disclose a price. The data shows a mix of single-family, condominium-unit and one bank-owned resale, with no basis in the records for characterizing the market as fast or slow beyond the raw sales count.
